Beaver Arkansas History
Nestled among 100-year-old trees on the banks of the westernmost tip of Table Rock Lake where the White River meets Table Rock Lake, lies the town of Beaver, Arkansas.
Our popular Beaver RV Park & Campground has been enjoyed for its beautiful, serene setting from the times when the Native American Indians roamed the Ozark Mountains to present day.
The railroad trestle across the White River was built in the late 1800s. The narrows, at the east end of the train trestle, created in 1883, provided a window to travelers, both east and west.
The "Golden Gate" suspension bridge is the last one in Arkansas open to vehicle traffic.
